Understanding Reiki

We are often asked to lecture on the subject of reiki, how it works and why it is beneficial. The courses are aimed at those people who would like to understand more about reiki and how it works, perhaps before learning reiki themselves.

The courses do not teach reiki nor how to become a reiki therapist.

Each course is led by a qualified and experienced reiki therapist and is generally around 40 minutes in duration. Courses can be tailored to a particular group size and interest, but usally cover the following topics:

• History of healing with hands
• Spirituality versus Science
• Scientific effects of reiki
• Spiritual effects of reiki
• Sceptisim of Reiki
• Reiki in todays society
